mice update

Hi guys: I ordered smaller mice (two different sizes of "hoppers") for the male rosy and female coastal plains, which will be delivered this Thursday. What is the status of the female and male rosy boas? How often has each female been with the male and any signs of mating? Also, I put some large mealworms in with the skink today which I had left over from home. Finally, I forgot to tell you that the skink's body would appreciate being taken out in the warm spring sun on sunny days. If you have time and want to hang out outside, you can let him crawl around on sit in your lap if he cares to and soak up some rays. The UV bulb in his cage is a good substitute for natural UV but nothing can compare to the sun.

I just filled up the big water jug, so it's still chlorine-y right now.

My first ever blog entry

Hi Marston, Robin and Julia: Posting this blog in part to see if I can do it and to update you on the skink. He continues not to eat on a regular basis but I did buy some new wet food (cat food this time) to entice him, but to no avail. So I will get a good supply of mega-mealworms this weekend because he went after some this past weekend. We still need to put a basking light in the cage and I have the housing but need to pick up a basking ceramic fixture in Ellsworth this weekend.
